Why AeroFlow
AeroFlow was created to eliminate the discomfort, distraction, and dehydration that have long plagued aircrew. By combining ergonomic design and user-centered testing, AeroFlow enables aviators to stay hydrated, focused, and mission-ready.
AeroFlow has been thoughtfully designed with and for aircrew
Legacy solutions for inflight bladder relief have been unsuitable for aviators due to discomfort, unreliability, unacceptable maintenance procedures, limited performance, and high-cost disposables. As a result, many aircrew personnel have resorted instead to “tactical” dehydration to avoid the need to hold in a full bladder. This dehydration creates its own serious problems including reduced mental performance, decreased physical ability, lower situational awareness, headaches, and affected vision.
AeroFlow is an in-flight bladder relief solution for military aviators that is easy to use without interfering with in-flight operations. AeroFlow’s comfort and reliability will encourage aircrew to remain hydrated and optimize their performance, flight safety, and survival.

Comfortable Interfaces
AeroFlow interfaces are comfortable, discreet, and stay securely in place with no specialty undergarments or adhesives. Rigorously designed and tested by a team of human factors engineers in collaboration with aircrew and medical professionals, AeroFlow interfaces provide a reliable fit for a stress-free void, every time.
Both AeroFlow Female and Male Interfaces are specialized external catheters. AeroFlow’s interfaces are based on state-of-the-art designs to ensure functionally and body-safety. However in-flight conditions differ vastly from the typical use of commercial external catheters—AeroFlow’s Interfaces have been fine-tuned for the constraints of aviator gear, physical activities of preflight checks, and seated use position in the cockpit.
Simple Logistics
AeroFlow consists of three main components: the reusable Control Unit, and disposable Interfaces (Female and Male) and urine collection bags. This approach minimizes waste generated by system use and reduces the space required to maintain a bladder relief system on deployment.
The rechargeable Control Unit is designed for longevity, with the integrated pump rated for thousands of uses. Simple maintenance is required following use; all supplies needed for cleaning are included in Disposable Bundles and Interface Packs to ensure the Control Unit can be cleaned after each flight.
The interfaces are the only anatomy-specific component of the AeroFlow System. Both Female and Male Interfaces store compactly. The Female Interface is a slim one-size external catheter, eliminating any challenges of stocking multiple sizes or bulky components as seen with other systems. The Male Interface condom catheter comes in three size options. All three sizes and a size guide are supplied in the Male Starter Kit, making determining the correct size simple.
Interfaces and collection bags can be purchased together in a 1:1 ratio in Disposable Bundles, or separately in Interface Packs and Collection Bag Packs to meet any differing usage needs.
