Why AeroFlow™
AeroFlow was created to eliminate discomfort, distraction, and dehydration while in flight. By combining ergonomic design and user-centered testing, AeroFlow enables aviators to stay hydrated, focused, and mission-ready.
AeroFlow has been thoughtfully designed with and for aircrew
Hydration is fundamental to how the brain and body perform under stress. Historically, many aircrew personnel have resorted to “tactical” dehydration to avoid the discomfort and distraction of a full bladder. Even mild dehydration can impact performance through reduced cognitive function (slower reaction times, impaired judgment reduced situational awareness) and decreased physical ability (dizziness, bodily fatigue, headaches, eye fatigue, and reduced sensitivity to contrast). In flight these are not small degradations—they become safety hazards that compound during long sorties and high-g environments.
AeroFlow is an in-flight bladder relief solution designed in collaboration with active and retired pilots to ensure comfortable, secure, and reliable urine collection. The AeroFlow System enables aviators to remain hydrated, focused, and always mission-ready.

Comfortable Interfaces
AeroFlow interfaces are comfortable, discreet, and stay securely in place with no specialty undergarments or adhesives. Rigorously designed and tested by a team of human factors engineers in collaboration with aircrew and medical professionals, AeroFlow Interfaces provide a reliable fit for a stress-free void, every time.
Both AeroFlow Female and Male Interfaces are specialized external catheters. AeroFlow Interfaces are based on state-of-the-art designs that have been fine-tuned for use specifically with aviator gear, physical activity (e.g., preflight checks), and long-duration seated use in the cockpit.
Simple Logistics
AeroFlow consists of three main components: the reusable Control Unit, disposable Interfaces (Female and Male) and disposable urine Collection Bags. This approach minimizes waste generated by system use and reduces the space required to maintain a bladder relief system on deployment.
The rechargeable Control Unit is designed for longevity, with the integrated pump rated for thousands of uses. Simple maintenance is required following use; all supplies needed for cleaning are included Interface Packs to ensure the Control Unit can be cleaned after each flight.
The interfaces are the only anatomy-specific component of the AeroFlow System. The Female Interface is a slim one-size external catheter, eliminating any challenges of stocking multiple sizes or bulky components. The Male Interface condom catheter comes in three size options. All three sizes and a size guide are supplied in the Male Starter Kit along with simple guidance for determining the correct size. Interfaces and Collection Bags are sold separately so aviators can supply according to their specific usage needs.
